I have always had an interest in nature and in recent years become much more involved with wildlife recording. During my 10 years working for the NBN Trust I developed a real appreciation of the dedication, work and passion of the UK's wildlife recording community. My role involved supporting the membership and taking a lead role in developing iNaturalist as a complimentary tool for wildlife recording.

As a volunteer I work locally in Nottingham helping to inspire others to appreciate their local green spaces and record what they see. This includes leading on engagement events such as City Nature Challenge.
