2018 Conference

Skill Development for Biological Recording

Joint Conference with Manchester Metropolitan University & Field Studies Council

Shrewsbury 10th-12th May 2018

NFBR's 2018 conference has a great line-up of speakers on the vital topic of skill development - how do we ensure that the skills needed for biological recording are passed on and available to all who are interested? Bookings are now open via the Field Studies Council website.

The conference has these aims:
  • To consider which skills recorders need
  • To review results of gap analyses and plans to address issues
  • To generate ideas to help new recorders learn
  • To share best practice in transferring skills
  • To discuss how NFBR can better support skill development
There will be a mix of presentations and workshop, plus a conference dinner on the Thursday evening and a field trip on the Saturday. The programme is available here.
All are welcome, whether you are already an NFBR member or just thinking of joining in the future!
